Corey L. Lamere, 27, of Halfmoon, is wanted on charges of felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, along with misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

Troopers stopped Lamere at about 7 p.m. July 31 on Route 22B in Schuyler Falls, Clinton County, for speeding, state police said.

Troopers soon determined Lamere was driving under the influence of alcohol. But when the trooper attempted to place him in custody, he resisted and pulled away before running into a nearby yard, state police said.

The trooper caught up with him and a fight ensued and Lamere was able to escape, state police said.

A warrant for his arrest was then issued Aug. 4, troopers said.

State police posted the case’s information on their Facebook page looking for leads. The post had more than 700 shares in the first four hours.

Lamere is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the state police at 518-873-2777.
