
SCHENECTADY – A car ended up on its roof after its driver fell asleep at the wheel, crashing it Tuesday morning, police said.

The crash happened just after 4 a.m. at the corner of Union and Regent streets in Schenectady.
The driver of a car hit a parked jeep, the driver’s car then rolled onto its roof, police said. The parked vehicle was unoccupied.
Police determined the crash was caused after the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors, a police spokesman said.
