
TOWN OF AMSTERDAM – A Scotia woman is accused of taking $1,600 worth of copper wire from the Lowe’s in the town of Amsterdam, state police said.

She is accused of taking the wire from Lowe’s June 22. A warrant was later issued for her arrest, state police said.
She was then found Aug. 6 during a traffic stop in Scotia, state police said. She was processed and released to appear in court later.
