The 7 p.m. performance was to feature Israeli/Iranian pop singer Liraz with special guest Palestinian Kanun virtuoso Firas Zreik.

The decision is due to the impending weather brought on by Hurrican Henri set to hit the Capital Region Sunday, particularly around show time. In addition to the problems with COVID-19 indoor venue protocols and restrictions that would arise by moving the show to the rain site, Proctor’s, according to the statement.

“Simply enough, the safety of the artists, my crew and volunteers and our devoted audience, comes first,” producing artistic director Mona Golub said in the release.

Next Sunday’s final concert in the Traveling The World One Concert At A Time series will feature the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra.
