Schenectady man charged in Lake George fight

A Schenectady man has been charge after state police said he was involved in a fight outside a Lake George bar Friday morning.

Jason M. Regels, 28, of Schenectady is charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after he slashed another male during a fight, according to state police.

Police responded just before 3 a.m. to DJ’s Nite Club in Lake George for reports of a fight. Police said, upon arriving to the scene, they found a man with a small laceration he received during the fight. Police apprehended Regels after he attempted to flee on foot.

The victim was transported to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment. Regels was arraigned and sent to the Warren County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
