Killed were Thomas G. Tilison, 70, and Tracy L. Tilison, 45, both of Richmondville, state police said.

They were killed when a car pulled into their path just before 4:30 p.m., causing a collision at Route 7 and Hite Road, state police said.

The driver of the car was identified as Emily Barner, 25, of Olean, Cattaraugus County. She was taken to Cobleskill Regional Hospital with minor injuries, state police said.

Barner had been driving a Toyota Prius and was stopped at the intersection of Hite and Route 7 in Richmondville when she attempted to turn left onto Route 7, troopers said. She then pulled into the path of the eastbound Harley Davidson operated by Thomas Tilison.

Both Thomas Tilison and Tracy Tilison died at the scene, state police said.

A state police release did not include further information on the investigation.
