The New York Racing Association plans to make the 1863 Club at the Saratoga Race Course available for private event this coming racing off-season, NYRA officials announced Thursday.

Mazzone Hospitality will oversee catering operations at the event venue as it opens to year-round private events for the first time since the club facility opened during the 2019 track season.

“We have received tremendous feedback from those who have enjoyed a day at the 1863 Club during the Saratoga racing season and are excited to provide even more guests with the opportunity to experience this unique space year-round,” said NYRA Vice President of Sales and Hospitality Kevin Quinn. “The 1863 Club, with its sweeping views of Saratoga Race Course, is ideally suited to host events of all shapes and sizes during the off-season.”

The 1863 Club stretches across three climate-controlled floors at the clubhouse turn of the historic racetrack. The facility includes a variety of venue accomodations for weddings, fundraisers, reunions and corporate dinner, according to the NYRA announcement.

The facility’s first-floor banquet space can accomodate up to nearly 500 people; the second floor can fit 300 guests; and the third floor offer three intimate suits that can welcome 30 to 45 guests each.
