I left work early that day in order to pay off a vehicle. I always drove small, used cars because that’s all I could afford

After the bank, I drove directly to a Jeep dealer in Amsterdam. That was my dream vehicle.

I walked in the dealership and all the staff were glued to the TV. I could not figure out why no one would get up to help me.

The first plane had hid the tower.

Then the second plane hit and everyone was speechless. We thought it was the beginning of World War III.

I left the dealership and tried calling family and friends from my cellphone. There was no cell service, ATM machines were not working, etc.

Very scary not knowing what was going on.
