Residents can once again skate at the Schenectady County Recreational Facility after the county announced it had reopened for use Wednesday.
The facility had been shut down in March 2020 due to the pandemic, according to a press release from the county. It has now reopened for figure skating, ice hockey and learn-to-skate programs.
During the month of September public skating is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 11;:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The rink schedule, admission prices and other information can be found at www.schenectady.com/recreation-center
Masks are required in the facility and individuals have to sign in for contact tracing purposes.
