SCHOHARIE – The 45th annual Fall Antique Show sponsored by the Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association will take place at the Schoharie Valley Railroad Complex on Depot Lane in the village of Schoharie on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25 and 26.
Dealers will be set up on the railroad complex grounds and both the Railroad Museum’s 1865 Station House and an 1891 passenger car from the Middleburgh & Schoharie Railroad will be open to the public. The freight shed, which houses railroad memorabilia, including a restored 1917 Delaware & Hudson Railway caboose, will also be open to showgoers.
Heritage artisans, including a butcher, a baker, candlestick and book makers, and a blacksmith, will all be in attendance. A special quilt exhibit by Stoney Creek Quilts & Wovens will take place on the second floor of the creamery building. A picnic tent will be set up.
Proceeds from the antique show funds the ongoing historic activities of the association. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 518-295-7505 or 518-231-7241.
