Schenectady Police are investigating the death of two women after their bodies were discovered Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to Yates Village on Van Vranken Avenue just before noon by a family member of one of the victims, police spokesman Pat Irwin said. The women were found in one of the newer apartments in the village, one was in her 50s, the other in her 40s. The cause of death is pending autopsies to be completed Saturday, according to Irwin.
No further details were available and the incident is currently under investigation.
