Saratoga Sheriff: Schenectady woman faces felony DWI count after Saturday Wilton crash

WILTON – A Schenectady woman is  facing a felony DWI count after a Saturday crash in Wilton, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

Andrea J. Howard, 37, of Schenectady, charged with felony driving while intoxicated, as well as the infraction of unsafe lane change, officials said.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. Saturday on Route 50, near Edie Road in Wilton, officials said.

Howard is accused of leaving her lane and hitting an unoccupied vehicle off the shoulder. Her blood alcohol content exceeded 0.18 percent, officials said.

She was charged with felony DWI due to prior convictions, officials said.

Howard was released on an appearance ticket to a third party. She is due in court later.
