Danielle L. Schoonmaker, 38, of Schenectady, was arrested last Tuesday and charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree grand larceny, state police said.

State police responded to the store in July for a theft report. The investigation revealed two incidents on separate dates in June that resulted in more than $5,000 in merchandise taken from the store, state police said.

Investigators then identified Schoonmaker as a person involved in the thefts, a state police spokeswoman said.

Schoonmaker was then taken into custody last Tuesday. She was arraigned and released to return to court later.
