Tonight’s Week 7 game between Schalmont and Scotia-Glenville has been called off, the Schenectady County schools confirmed this morning.

The school’s athletic directors wrote in emails to The Daily Gazette that Scotia-Glenville was unable to play the game because of a lack of available players. Scotia-Glenville athletic director Jamian Rockhill wrote that a combination of season-ending injuries and the need to “quarantine a number of players due to COVID precautions” left the Tartans without enough players.

Several other games were previously called off for Week 7, including a matchup between Mohonasen and Green Tech that was canceled because Mohonasen did not have enough players to play.
