Saratoga Sheriff: Schenectady woman charged with assault using coffee mug in Halfmoon

HALFMOON – A Schenectady woman assaulted a man with a coffee mug early Thursday morning in Halfmoon, causing injury, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

Jaimee K. Ryf, 40, of Schenectady, was charged with one count of second-degree assault, a felony.

She is accused of hitting the man with the mug just after 4:30 a.m. Thursday at Pine Ridge II apartments in Halfmoon.

The man suffered an injury and was known to her, officials said.

Ryf was arraigned and released to pre-trial services to return to court later.
