NISKAYUNA – The town is encouraging residents to take part in the 12th annual Halloween parade set for Sunday at Town Hall.
The parade will begin at 4 p.m. There will be a costume contests where prizes will be given to each girl, boy and pet for most creative costume, according to the town’s website.
Each participant will receive a candy bag, there will be a Niskayuna fire truck on site and people can get tours of the Niskayuna Fire Department by Chief Jordan Kochan.
People are asked to bring a canned fruit items or box of Mac & Cheese, which are being collected by Girl Scout Troop 2351 for the Nisky Nutrition on Weekends (NISKY NOW) holiday drive.
