
PRINCETOWN – Barking dogs early Wednesday morning led to resident discovering a bear had just passed by, caught on his home security camera.
Resident Jason Yap shared the video Thursday morning of the bear visiting his Rynex-Corners Road home.

“Our dogs started barking like crazy around 1:30am and we saw our flood light was on,” Yap told The Daily Gazette via Facebook Messenger later Thursday. “We looked out the window but it was already out of view. We checked our camera and saw the bear. First time we’ve ever seen one around our home.”

Note, Yap assures that the streaks across the camera are bugs, not snow, and the grass looks like it does due to the video recording mode, also not snow.
