CLIFTON PARK — Work continues as Saratoga County installs an all-way traffic signal at the intersection of Grooms Road and Vischer Ferry Road in Clifton Park to improve traffic flow. The project includes signal-controlled crosswalks to enhance pedestrian safety at the intersection.

The project that began last week remains on schedule with completion expected in mid-November.

Town Supervisor Phil Barrett, who serves as chairman of the county’s Public Works Committee said, “The installation of the traffic signal and crosswalks are important and needed upgrades that will improve both traffic safety and pedestrian safety while helping to create a more walkable community. “

The intersection will be open to traffic during the project installation, but drivers may experience intermittent delays.
