Vaccine clinics in Saratoga County

SARATOGA COUNTY – County health officials are holding a pair of free COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week for children 5 to 11, as well as booster clinics for senior citizens.

A Pfizer vaccine clinic for children is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, both at the Saratoga County Public Safety Building, 6012 County Farm Road Ballston Spa. 

Registration is required. The child should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If not accompanied, a written consent form signed by the parent or guardian is required at the time of the child’s vaccination. 

Additionally, a Pfizer booster vaccine clinic for those age 65 and older will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Galway Fire Department, 1985 West St., Galway. The booster seeker must have received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on or before May 9. Registrations are strongly recommended.  

A Moderna booster clinic for senior citizens is set for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Wednesday at the Saratoga County Public Safety Building, 6012 County Farm Road Ballston Spa. Seniors must have had their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer on or before May 10 or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine on or before Sept. 10. Registrations are strongly recommended. Limited, same-day walk-in appointments will be available.

Seniors may also call the county’s COVID-19 Booster Clinic Call Center at (518) 693-1075 to register. The call center is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
