EASTON, Pa. — Jessica Booth made a jump shot to give Lafayette the lead with 3:53 left in the game, and the Leopards went on to a 49-44 women’s college basketball non-conference victory over Siena on Saturday at Kirby Sports Center.

The Leopards (1-3) overcame an 18-11 halftime deficit and outscored the Saints (0-3) 38-27 in the second half. Siena held Lafayette to two points in the second quarter.

Booth led the Leopards with 19 points. Makalia Wilson added 13 points, and Makayla Andrews chipped in with 10 points.

Margo Peterson was the only Siena to hit double figures, scoring 16 points.

Neither team shot well from the field. Siena was 16 for 64 (25%), while Lafayette was 17 for 46 (37%). The Saints also struggked at the foul line, making just 6 of 19 shots.

Siena concludes its season-opening four-game road trip Tuesday when it visits New Hampshire for a 1 p.m. game.
