Ken Schott's ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections 2021-22: Week 12

We had been fortunate not to have many games involving ECAC Hockey teams postponed or canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of the season.

Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more games either being postponed or canceled. Six of the 20 games were postponed last week, including Union’s two-game series against UMass last weekend. It appears the Union-UMass games won’t be rescheduled.

And this weekend’s schedule is getting affected. RPI won’t play its two games at Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend. Dartmouth also postponed Friday’s game against Union. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 26, the ECACH announced Wednesday. St. Lawrence’s games at New Hampshire and Merrimack have been canceled.

We’ll do our best to have some fun with the picks as we work our way through this pandemic.

Ryan Fay remains in first place after going 9-4-1 in Week 10. Ryan is two points ahead of Brian Unger, who also went 9-4-1.

Andy Weise had the best record in Week 11, going 11-2-1.
