Junior bowling: Bogholts (700), Hansen (300-697) lead boys; Struffolino (696) paces girls

Tyler Bogholts produced a 278-700 at Sportsman’s Bowl, Julian Hansen rolled his first career perfect game during a 697 triple at Boulevard Bowl, and Olivia Struffolino, entering her match with a 139 average, shot a career-best 248 single and her first 600 triple (696) for the girls’ division feature at Towne Bowling Academy to pace this week’s junior bowling roundup.

Other standouts at Boulevard Bowl included Austin Haight (230-651), Aiden Young (223-637) and Kyle Smith (211-607) for the boys.
Margaret Peterson fired a 246-623, and Teyah Mason shot a 213-584 for the girls.

Also making the leaderboard at Sportsman’s Bowl were Jonathan Bauer (269-695), Tim Bushj(258-677), Tyler Drexel (232-658) Sean Howlan (631) and Ryan Monty (238-616) for the boys, as well as Kiara Beehm (224-610) for the girls.

At Towne Bowling Academy, Jayson Capullo (229-664 and 231-610), Dom Salamone (238-633), Gino Palleschi (237-632), Nick Biski (222-631), Richard Pitsas (245-607), Matt Rogers (223-604) and David Squires (212-600) reached the 600 mark for the boys, while Amy Chrzanowski (257-664) and Katilyn Gaudio (247-629) hit that plateau for the girls.

The Joey Schmidt Capital District Youth Scholarship Tour was canceled Sunday because of icy road conditions.
