
MECHANICVILLE – A Mechanicville woman has been arrested, accused of reporting a fire at a residence last week when there was no fire, Mechanicville police said.
Gena M. Corrigan, 44, of Mechanicville, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of second-degree falsely reporting an incident, a felony.

The call then led to the Mechanicville and Round Lake fire departments to respond, along with the Mechanicville Police Department, police said.
Upon arrival, they quickly determined the report was false and an investigation begun, police said.
Corrigan was processed and released to appear in court later.
