His blood alcohol content tested at 0.29 percent – more than three times the legal limit, troopers said.
State police identified the driver as Ryan M. Natalie, 42, of Glenville. He was arrested and charged with two counts of felony Leandra’s Law DWI, along with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and misdemeanor controlled substance possession.
He was arrested after a traffic stop on Blue Barns Road in Clifton Park Saturday evening after showing signs he was driving drunk, state police said. He was also found to have a controlled substance without a prescription, troopers said.
The children were released to a family member, state police said.
