
Blake Behlen had four goals and an assist to lead LIU to a 14-7 men’s college lacrosse non-conference win over Siena on Saturday in Brookville.
It was the Saints’ 11th straight loss dating back to the shortened 2020 season. Siena went 0-8 last year and lost the final two games of 2020 before the season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Saints’ last win came against NJIT on Feb. 29, 2020, a 12-5 triumph.
Chris Watts led Siena with three goals.

SIENA WOMEN WIN OPENER
Five Siena players scored three goals in a season-opening 18-6 non-conference victory over New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire.
Meghan Decker, Grace Dobrzynski, Kelsey Lane, Nicole McNeely and Jordan Bentley each had a hat trick for the Saints. McNeely also assisted on three goals.
Siena broke open the game in the middle two quarters. It outscored UNH 12-4 to take a 16-6 lead after three quarters
