High schools: Savoie leads Broadalbin-Perth past Johnstown in Foothills Council boys’ basketball

Ryan Savoie scored 22 points to lift Broadalbin-Perth to a 60-50 victory over Johnstown in a Foothills Council boys’ basketball contest Monday.

Mariano DiCaterino added 14 points for the Patriots.

Braden Jones scored 23 points to lead Johnstown, while Steven VanNostrand and Ryan Hoyt each had 10 points.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS EDGES B-P GIRLS

Sydney Hart scored 14 points to lead South Glens Falls to a 33-31 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council girls’ basketball game Monday.

Jade Maille scored 10 points for the Bulldogs, who rallied after falling behind 9-2 in the first quarter.

Molly Russom scored eight points to lead Broadalbin-Perth.
