
SCHENECTADY – A city man has been arrested in connection with a November vehicle fire in Schenectady, authorities said.
James R. Tucker, 42, of Ingersoll Avenue, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of third-degree arson, a felony.
Tucker is accused of setting a Ford Explorer on fire at an address on Broadway Nov. 13, damaging the vehicle, according to allegations filed in court.
Tucker is accused of specifically holding an open flame to available combustibles inside the vehicle, damaging it, according to the allegations.
Investigators cite physical evidence, along with video and photographic evidence and statements from the defendant, according to the allegations.
