
After a close first half, Lehigh scored three quick goals to start the second half and get some breathing room on the way to a 16-11 non-conference victory over Siena at the Ulrich Sports Complex in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday.
The Saints fell to 2-3 with their second straight loss, and the Mountain Hawks improved to 2-3.
Kelsey Lane had four goals and two assists for Siena, and Nicole McNeely and Jordan Bentley each had two goals and one assist.
Emma Eberhardt led Lehigh with five goals, and Gabby Schneider had four goals and three assists.
Siena was within 9-8 after Amanda Nieman scored with 2:33 left in the second quarter, but Lehigh’s Julia Skillin scored with three seconds left for a 10-8 lead.

Eberhardt scored two goals in the first two and a half minutes of the third quarter, and Nora Giordano’s goal 3:35 into the quarter gave the Mountain Hawks a 13-8 lead.
Siena didn’t get within less than three of the lead the rest of the way.
