
HALFMOON – The state police Thursday asked the public for help in finding a missing Halfmoon man, who left home Wednesday afternoon in a manner out of character for him, state police said.
Bilal Ashfaq, 20, was last seen at his residence in the North Pointe Apartments on Route 9 in Halfmoon at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.
He left home with no phone or money, which is out of character for him and his family is concerned for his welfare, a state police spokeswoman said.

Ashfaq is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, approximately 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light green hoodie, blue jeans, and red sneakers and is believed to be on foot, state police said.
