The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Joann T. Levack, 87, of Queensbury, was driving west on Quaker Road and had begun to make a left turn onto LaFayette Street, officials said.

At the same time, Earnest, riding her motorcycle, was headed east on Quaker Road and collided with Levack in the intersection and ejecting Earnest from the motorcycle, officials said.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, officials said. The crash remained under investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 518-743-2500.
