SARATOGA SPRINGS – Saratoga Springs chef Jeannette Liebers of Sweet Mimi’s Cafe & Bakery will be featured on an episode of CBS’ “The Talk” set to air on Friday.
The daily, one-hour series is hosted by Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood.
On the “Food Face-Off” segment of the show, chefs from two different cities make dishes to be judged by the hosts. Liebers will face off against Karie Myers from Jigger’s Diner in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
The show will air on Channel 6 at 2 p.m. Friday.
It won’t be the first time Liebers has competed in a televised production. Last year, the chef was featured on Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay,” where she won against Chris Bonnivier, the former executive chef at The Adelphi Hotel, though she didn’t manage to beat Flay in the end.
