
SIENA – The Siena College men’s lacrosse team clinched a spot in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday by defeating Quinnipiac 15-10 at Hickey Field.
The Saints have won three in a row and four of their last five.
Freshman Pratt Reynolds led the Saints (3-3 league, 6-8 overall) with four goals and one assist. Jack Kiernan added three goals. Cole Allen and Luke Julien each had two goals and an assist.
In goal, Chris Yanchoris made 15 saves.
Quinnipiac took an early 2-0 lead, but Kiernan got Siena on the board, and that started a 5-0 Saints run, and they never trailed from there.
Siena is the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Tournament and will play top-seeded St. Bonaventure on Thursday at host Marist College.

UALBANY FALLS TO PENN
Ben Bedard and Ben Smith each had four goals, as No. 13 Pennsylvania scored on 48 percent of its shots in a 19-11 non-league win over UAlbany at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.
The Great Danes had 10 goal-scorers, with Graydon Hogg’s two leading the way. Jack Pucci and Declan Palandjian each added a goal and an assist. Regan Endres won 18 of 31 faceoffs and had a game-high 10 ground balls.
UAlbany will be the No. 4 seed for the upcoming America East Tournament, and will play at top-seeded Vermont in a semifinal at 7 p.m.Thursday.

STONY BROOK TOPS GREAT DANES
No. 6-ranked Stony Brook took a 4-0 first-quarter lead and kept its foot on the gas in topping UAlbany 16-5 in the regular-season finale for both America East teams at Fallon Field.
Kailyn Hart led the Seawolves, who are ineligible for the conference tournament because the school is leaving for the Colonial Athletic Association after this spring, with five goals. Jaden Hampel added three goals and two assists.
UAlbany, which had 30 fouls, had five different goal-scorers. Ava Poupard had a goal and an assist. Other scorers were Emma Weaver, Grace McCauley, Megan Dineen and Ivy Santana.
UAlbany is the No. 1 seed and host for the America East Tournament. It will host fourth-seeded UMBC in a semifinal at 3 p.m. Thursday.
