No one was home when crews arrived. The garage and part of the house were fully involved, Bonesteel said. Crews knocked down the fire in about an hour and a half, but the structure is a total loss, according to Bonesteel. The residents have not been located, Bonesteel said.

Saratoga County fire investigators are looking into the cause.
