Police: Schenectady man stole two boilers from city residence; Faces burglary, larceny counts

SCHENECTADY A city man has been arrested, accused of breaking into a home and taking two boilers, authorities said.

Randy Persaud, 22, of Schenectady, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count each of second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny, felonies.

Persaud is accused of breaking into a Mynderse Street home at about 1 a.m. Oct. 30 and taking the two boilers, according to police allegations filed in court.

The boilers had an estimated value of $5,200, according to the allegations.
