
Zach Farrar threw three touchdown passes, and Calvin Fance ran for a pair of scores Saturday night in the Albany Empire’s 39-31 win over the Columbus Lions in Columbus, Ohio.
Farrar completed 10 of 18 passes for 116 yards and threw touchdowns to Darius Prince, Farrean Toney and Marquel Wade. Wade caught a team-high six passes for 49 yards.
Nick Haag had a pair of sacks to lead the Albany defense as the Empire improved to 4-1 on the season.
Albany will be back home next Saturday at 7 p.m. to host the Carolina Cobras at MVP Arena.
