Tri-City edges Quebec for Frontier League win

The Tri-City ValleyCats pulled out a 7-6 win over Quebec in Frontier League action Sunday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

Pavin Parks’ single to center field in the seventh inning knocked in two runs, part of his 3-for-5 night with three RBIs and a run. Brantley Bell went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles and two runs for Tri-City. Daniel Angulo was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run. Ciaran Devenney drove in two for the ValleyCats.

Tri-City (14-12) used six pitchers in the win, with Joey Gonzalez striking out eight over 4 1-3 innings.
