COLONIE – A motorcyclist from Caroga Lake was killed in a crash Tuesday morning in Colonie, Colonie Police said.
Frederick Franko, 64, of Caroga Lake, was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he died, police said.
The crash happened at about 7:41 a.m. on Route 7 in Colonie, near Spruce Street, police said.
Officers responded there for a report of the crash and that the rider had been ejected from his motorcycle and was seriously injured, police said.

The Colonie Police Traffic Division continued to investigate the crash later Tuesday.
