SALUTATORIAN

Parents: Greg and Ruth Lindenfelser

College or other plans: Attend Binghamton University majoring in Psychology with minors in Arabic and Visual Arts.

Plans after college: I don’t have a complete plan for what I intend to do after college, but I surmise that I’ll want to continue learning at another school and get a higher degree.

What is the memory of high school you will never forget: I will never forget the pure glee and joy I felt performing at this year’s Project Dance. It was my one and only time performing in Project Dance. The excited enthusiasm that radiated from all the dancers was infectious and made for a magnificent evening.

Which teacher had the biggest impact on you and why: There isn’t a singular teacher, but my IB teachers will leave a forever impact on me. Ms. Wygal taught me that anyone is capable of executing the magnificent, you just have to find the right space to do it. Mr. Gerbini taught me that patience and perseverance are two key ingredients to achieving what you once thought was impossible. Ms. Chien taught me to always perform at 110 percent. Ms. Kohout blessed me with her sunny optimism throughout my four years of high school, making encounters with her the most enjoyable.

What is in your music player: Certain tracks on Harry Styles’ Harry’s House, “Little Freak” and “Grape Juice,” and Bon Iver.

Favorite book or author: Agatha Christie’s writings and “On Earth We are Briefly Gorgeous” by Ocean Vuong.
