What is the memory of high school you will never forget: Over the next several years, individual days will fade, but I’ll never forget the small acts of kindness I’ve been shown by my teachers. For instance, when I finished my IB French exam, I left the testing room to find my French teacher waiting anxiously right outside the door. She was as invested in my success as I was. It meant a great deal to know that she, and all of my other teachers, were wholeheartedly rooting for my friends and I.
Which teacher had the biggest impact on you and why: Mrs. Rousseau has been my Cross Country and Track and Field coach for four years, and my Science Olympiad coach and IB Physics teacher for two. Throughout high school, she has challenged me with difficult workouts and rigorous course material, and it is through this that I have been able to realize my tenacity. She has also become a great friend, with valuable advice and a kind smile to give on even the hardest of days.
