What is the memory of high school you will never forget: One memory of high school I will never forget is the musical. I played the role of Mrs. Potts in the musical Beauty and the Beast. The show was so much fun to prepare, and I made a ton of friends along the way. After the musical was produced, we received two nominations from Proctors for Best Musical and Best Ensemble. Overall, I got to work with many talented students, learned new techniques, and had a ton of fun!

What teacher had the biggest impact on you and why: One teacher who has had the biggest impact on me was my FACS teacher, Mrs. Sacks. During my freshman year, I had Mrs. Sacks as a teacher for Child Psychology 1. She introduced me to a career path known as the career exploration internship program which would allow me to intern in elementary classrooms to see if I would enjoy teaching. By receiving this guidance during my freshman year, I was able to prepare my schedule for the internship and take mandatory classes ahead of time. Mrs. Sacks helped me to decide what I wanted to major in and provided me with wonderful resources as well as experiences. She has been a wonderful role model and teacher, which is why I am so grateful to have had her guidance.

What’s on your playlist: My current favorite songs are “Cough Syrup” by Young the Giant and “Let it Roll” by Lewis Capaldi

Favorite book or author: My favorite authors are Karin Slaughter and James Patterson.
