The 27th annual Saratoga Soroptimist Secret Gardens Tour is set for Sunday, July 10, featuring a variety of gardens in Saratoga Springs and near Saratoga Lake.

This year’s gardens include sprawling suburban oases with terraced perennials and pathways, jam-packed havens for backyard pollinators, and tiny hillside hideaways tucked behind a stretch of in-city townhomes.

Tickets are $25 in advance and include a program with garden descriptions and a map with suggested driving directions. The gardens will be open for viewing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The tour is one of Soroptimist International of Saratoga County’s main fundraisers. The professional women’s service organization aims to improve the lives of women and girls, as well as their communities. Proceeds from the all-volunteer event fund individuals and programs in keeping with the Soroptimist mission, including support of victims of domestic violence.

Advance tickets are available online at soroptimistsaratoga.org. Ticket buyers can print out the program or opt to pick up a program in person on July 10 between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center.

Advance tickets may also be purchased at Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs, all four Cudney’s Cleaning retail locations, and Faddegon’s Nursery in Latham. Organizers recommend ticket buyers call ahead to confirm availability.

On the day of the tour, if still available, tickets can be purchased for $30 at soroptimistsaratoga.org and in-person from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center.
