
SCHENECTADY – The Schenectady Police Department welcomed six new officers Thursday evening and promoted three others.
The department held the Promotion and Badge ceremony at City Hall, with Police Chief Eric Clifford providing the new officers, among them his son Daniel Clifford, their badges.

The new officers are now to head into field training, officials said.
Promoted were sergeants Seth North, William Stockman and Takeo Mosher.
