
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Four businesses were cited in an underage alcohol sales sting Thursday, while nine others passed, Saratoga Springs police said.
Members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department’s Investigation’s Division, with help from the state Liquor Authority, conducted the compliance checks at city establishments to ensure alcohol is not sold to underage customers, officials said.

The four businesses cited and the clerk’s charged, according to police:
- EBI, Excelsior Avenue – Mark M. Miller, 47, no residence given
- Luk Oil, Church Street – Ravinda Gupta, 34, no residence given
- Minogues Beverage, West Avenue – Nicklaus C. Cirillo, 27, no residence given
- Extra Mart, South Broadway – Heather M. French-Sherwood, 48, no residence given
Each of the individuals charged was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor. They were released to appear in court later.
