Summer in the Capital Region is packed with things to do, at the track and away from it. On any given day, there’s plenty to choose from between horse racing, live music, festivals, fairs and theater.

Here are several fun options for today.

PICK OF THE DAY 

The Philadelphia Orchestra performs the “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” score along with a film screening at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $35 for adults and $15 for children.

AROUND SARATOGA

The Saratoga Automobile Museum hosts Don Yenko’s Muscle Cars from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. followed by a VIP panel discussion and reception slated from 3-6 p.m. Tickets to the show are $5. Tickets to the VIP event are $200. 

The Big Takeover and Woody & the Rebel Alliance perform at Universal Preservation Hall at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Lindsey Webster will perform at Caffe Lena at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

ELSEWHERE

The Lords of 52nd Street – Legends Of Billy Joel Band is set to perform at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater from 7:30-9 p.m. as part of the Harbor Jam series. Opening performances by DJ Kevin Richards and David J start at 5 p.m. 

Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany features “Jersey Boys” at 3 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $27 – $69.50.

The Nisky Dixie Cats are set to perform a free show at Freedom Park in Scotia at 7 p.m. as a part of the Freedom Park Summer Concert Series.
