TROY — Clay Fisher drove in two runs with a home run and single as the Ottawa Titans edged the Tri-City ValleyCats 7-6 on Wednesday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

Fisher had an RBI single during the Titans’ three-run third inning that gave them a 4-2 lead. He hit a solo homer in the eighth to make it 6-3.

Pavin Parks pulled the ValleyCats to within one in the bottom of the eighth with a two-run homer.

Tyrus Greene had a pair of RBI singles for the Titans.

Denis Phipps hit a two-run homer in the first inning for the ValleyCats. Carson McCusker had a solo shot in the seventh.

The two teams conclude their three-game series at 6:35 p.m. Thursday.
