TROY — Brad Zunica drilled three home runs, including a pair of grand slams, to lead the Tri-City ValleyCats to a 12-3 Frontier League victory over the Ottawa Titans on Tuesday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
AJ Wright hit a three-run homer in the first to give the Titans the lead.
Then Zunica took over. He hit a solo homer in the second. After the ValleyCats loaded the bases with one out on a double by Cito Culver, a single by Pavin Parks and a walk to Denis Phipps, Zunica drille his first grand slam over the center-field fence.
Then with two outs in the eighth deep again, this time to left-center field.
Carson McCusker and Austin Elder hit solo homers for the ValleyCats.
The two teams play again at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday.
