
Summer in the Capital Region is packed with things to do, at the track and away from it. On any given day, there’s plenty to choose from between horse racing, live music, festivals, fairs and theater.
Here are several fun options for today.
Pick of the Day:
Goo Goo Dolls and guest Blue October are set to perform tonight at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center at 7. Tickets start at $25.
Around Saratoga:
The Bluebillies and Marty Wendell head to Caffe Lena for an evening of roots and rockabilly. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.50-25.
Brookline, as well as Bvlcony, El Modernist and Grape Juice are set to play Putnam Place at 8 tonight.
The Rodeo Barons are set to play Purdy’s Summer Concert Stage at the Saratoga Race Course. Gates open at 11 a.m.

Country star Cody Johnson is set to play the MVP Arena in Albany at 7:30. Tickets are $50-130.
Lit, along with Marcy Playground, will make a stop at Frog Alley Brewing Co. in Schenectady tonight. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $25.
Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany presents “Jersey Boys” tonight at 8. Tickets are $27-69.50.
