
NISKAYUNA – MacLaren Richards scored in the first half, and Kyra Buhrmaster tallied in the second half Sunday as Niskayuna defeated Warwick Valley 2-0 in the New York State Hall of Fame Tournament.
Silver Warriors goalies Maddie Mills and Anna Joyce each made eight saves to combine on the shutout.
In other tournament games, Cloey Dopp and Abigail Chest each scored a goal to lead the Mayfield girls’ soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Parishville-Hopkinton
Sallyann Agerter made six saves to record the shutout.
Lily Klippel scored in Northville’s 4-1 loss to Poland. Hailey Monroe made six saves for Northville.
Queensbury beat Islip 1-0. Shea Canavan had 13 saves. Mia Keshmiri scored the goal.
Unatego beat Canajoharie 7-2. Sofia Heiser and Mariah Hazzard scored for Canajoharie. Giana Murphy assisted on both goals.
Mechanicville dropped a 3-1 decision to Nardin. Maddy Hopeck scored for Mechanicville, and goalie Liv Horan stopped 10 shots.
In a Suburban Council field hockey game Saturday, Maddy Connelie scored twice, and Lily Mastrella had a goal and two assists to lead Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake to a 4-1 win over Saratoga Springs.
