SCHENECTADY – A Tuesday afternoon rain storm hit Schenectady and surrounding areas, dumping between one and two inches of rain in the span of about an hour, according to National Weather Service numbers.
The heavy rain caused headaches for drivers as water covered frequent flooding hot spots, including the area of Weaver Street and Broadway in Schenectady.
Multiple cars waded through the water and some stalled out.
