Saratoga Sheriff: Six charged in Saratoga County drug sales; Cocaine, methamphetamine sales uncovered

BALLSTON SPA Six people have been charged in connection with a countywide drug investigation that involved both cocaine and methamphetamine sales, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said Monday.

The sheriff’s office arrested Terry Fauntleroy, 31, of Schenectady, and Felix Ortega, 55, of Wilton, on Sept. 14 after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking in the county, officials said.

Fauntleroy is accused of possessing and selling cocaine; Ortega of possessing and selling methamphetamine, officials said.

Investigators also executed a search warrant at 85 and 87 Traver Road in Wilton and found multiple people inside. Investigators arrested four there: Tyanne Carpenter, 31; Melissa Sias, 42; Jerry Falconio, 57; and Jonathan Lincoln-Lynch, 32, all of Wilton, officials said.

During their investigatio and search, officials uncovered scales, packaging material, quantities of crack cocaine, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, suboxone, heroin and a Chuka stick.

Fauntleroy was charged with one count each of third-degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance,  all misdemeanors.

Ortega was charged with one count each of fifth-degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.

Carpenter faces one felony count of first-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and three counts of misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Falconio and Sias each face one count of first-degree criminal nuisance, a felony, and three counts of misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Lincoln-Lynch faces one count of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors.

Fontleroy, Ortega, Falconio and Carpenter were arraigned and held pending further action. Sias and Lincoln-Lynch were released to appear in court later.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
